This project let us explore the area of layout design in a more unconventional way. This book was inspired by my father, who has diabetes. The guidelines were derived from an area of interest that is close to you. I've always wondered about diabetes and I wanted to learn more about it since it runs in my families genetics. Aesthetically, this book encapsulates the feel of a doctor's office or a science lab. Diabetes can be scary, so I wanted to put a "sterile" feeling in the book. It talks about what diabetes is, what it affects, and what you can do about the disease.
